Gary Lee Moore’s Obituary & Funeral Service

Gary Moore worked a fulfilling, 40-year career at Seattle City Light. “He was a proud union man, a lifelong member of Local 77… He valued the friendships he built there and cherished the sense of community that came with being part of the union.”

After a battle with Parkinson’s disease, Gary passed peacefully in his sleep. “In lieu of flowers, Gary requested that donations be made in his honor to Parkinson’s research, specifically to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, Northwest Chapter.”

Gary Moore’s Funeral Service will be June 14, 2025, at the Fauntleroy Church at 1:00 p.m.  A celebration of life will follow just across the street at 2:oo p.m.  where there will be food, beverages, music, and a slideshow.  It will be the social event of the season for the Mayor of West Seattle!
