Outside Line Benefits

LINECO Insurance

LINECO is the insurance plan for construction members. After you establish initial eligibility, you must have at least 125 credited hours per month to remain covered. As with initial eligibility, there is a lag month. Call LINECO for more information on your eligibility at 1-800-323-7268.

LINECO HRA

This is the HEALTH REIMBURSEMENT ACCOUNT, (HRA). You are eligible to participate if you work under the NECA Collective Bargaining Agreement, which allows for contributions to the HRA on your behalf.

NEBF

The NATIONAL ELECTRICAL BENEFIT FUND is a pension plan that is paid into for every hour you work under an IBEW Local 77 signatory Construction Contractor.

NEAP

The NATIONAL ELECTRICAL ANNUITY PLAN is a pension annuity plan that is paid into for every hour you work under an IBEW Local 77 signatory Construction Contractor.

IBEW PBF

NEFP

The NATIONAL ELECTRICAL 401K PLAN is a plan that is totally voluntary and designed to give you the opportunity to save and invest additional money for your retirement.

STD / LTD

The CONSTRUCTION STD/LTD has two types of benefits - Short-Term and Long-Term Disability. Short-Term Disability pays a weekly benefit and Long-Term Disability pays a monthly Benefit. Both pay a benefit equal to 60% of your weekly or monthly earnings when you are actively reporting 125 hours in a given month. Both will also pay a 60% benefit if you are working but need to utilize the hour bank to meet the 125 hour eligibility. If you are not reporting any hours worked but have at least 125 hours accrued in the hour bank, your benefit is 50%.

ERTS

For the ELECTRONIC RECIPROCITY TRANSFER SYSTEM, individual participants (traveling members) must initially register on ERTS in person (with photo identification) at an assisting LU Office or a Fund Office. Once you have completed your initial registration, participants will receive their user ID and password in the mail at the address provided when they register with ERTS. After that you will be able to login via the Internet from any location using your user ID and password. Disclosure Statement

Per the new Referral Guidelines, as of November 1, 2021, you must sign the books in person the first time, then you can continue to sign the out-of-work books online.  Two (2) subsequent book signings will be allowed via the online form. After exhausting the two (2) subsequent book signings and/or 1 year has expired since presenting themselves in person for the purpose of book signing, the applicant must present themselves in person to place his/her name on the out of workbooks.
